I'm Rod Tilyard. My interests are philately, Tilyard genealogy, computing and family.

I spent my career in computing as a programmer, systems analyst, consultant, sales account manager and IT manager; retiring late 2009 and relocating to Devonport in Tasmania from Melbourne, along with wife June and daughter Kimberly.

Programming and stamp collecting are in my DNA, so after the designing, coding and testing phases were completed early 2015, the KoalaStamps website went live that same year, providing an outlet for four decades of stamp stockpiling.

In three short years, thousands of collectors from over 100 countries have stopped by and added to their collections.

On 27th July 2018 I was appointed as Webmaster and an honorary lifetime member of the Internet Philatelic Dealers Association (IPDA).

I'm fully immersed in our great hobby every day and look forward to continuing to provide you with the very best quality singles and sets, both mint and (very) fine used that are affordably priced under retail value.
