Once you have registered an account an e-mail containing a verification link will be sent to your e-mail. When you click the activationlink in that e-mail, you will get logged in automatically and your e-mail/account is now verified.
If you do not receive the e-mail with the verification link within 5 minutes, please check your SPAM-folder. If it is not in your spamfolder, please try to login (at the top), and you will be given the option to re-send the verification e-mail if you have not already verified.
If you use the wrong password, you will get a pop-up message in which you can request your password/username. Simply enter your e-mail or username in the field provided, and it will be sent to you.

To upgrade your account to a seller or VIP membership level go to "My profile". Click the orange "upgrade account" button. Select what type of membership upgrade you would like to make.
To pay for an account upgrade you can pay by either credit card or debit card. All large credit cards are accepted like for instance VISA and MasterCard.

To create your own personal catalogue showing your personal stamp collection you can go to My profile" - "My stamps" - Select Add catalogue". You can now search your own stamps and add them in the condition you have by ticking them off.

Go to "Catalogue" from the main menu and then use the "select a country" dropdown list. There are more than 1100 countries and areas to choose from.
Most of the countries will also have subgroups like "Postage due stamp", "Official Stamps" and so on. To find these you have to navigate to the country you are looking for and then these are located under "Cat." in the Search box.
Navigate to the continent that you wish to see stamps from. Afterwards choose a specific country either by clicking on the map or by using the countrylist.
If the country has sub-areas, you can choose which sub-area to see. You can also always "jump" directly to a country by using the dropdown list in the top right.
In the catalogue type information after the number on each and every stamp. Clicking this, will show you all stamps of the same "type".
When you register the catalogue assessments will be shown in either Euro or US Dollars. To change this go to "My profile" and click "Settings--> Currency". Select your preferred currency for the catalogue here.
You can however change the price which is displayed when you buy a stamp to your preferred currency. Go to "My Profile" from the frontpage, then click "settings" and then click "currency".

From the infobox you can add or edit the following: stamp info, variants, articles, plates, frames and forgeries. You can also upload a picture if its missing in the catalogue or improve the quality of existing images (if you have a better picture than the one we currently have). Please notice that the picture you upload will be in a slightly lower quality in order to keep up the server speed.
From the search you can go to Subgroups like Postage due stamps, Tax stamp and so on. You can narrow your search down by year, motif, type, color, currency and denomination.
You search will only apply in the actual country you are in (currently browsing). To search other countries or do global searches, please us the "advanced search".
Our catalogue number system is solely based on the day and country of issue. It starts with "1" for the first stamp issued in the particular country and then continues up for each new issue. There are a few instances where stamps of the same type or motif have been gathered under one number. Numbers could then be Spain 25, 25A, 25B, 25C.
If you mouse over the symbols it will tell you what each of them mean (Mint, unused, used & Letter/FDC). Amount issued: How many stamps were issued. Mint condition: Mint has the rubber in perfect condition. Unused: Unused has damaged or no rubber. Used: Used has a stamp or part of a stamp. Letter/FDC: Is on a letter or First Day Cover (FDC) of good quality.

You can always upgrade your seller account to a seller+ account. You will always get a deduction for "unused" subscription fees you might have incurred on your curren seller account.
Stampworld charges a certain percentage of sales, in order to cover the cost of providing the platform for our members. We don't charge a fee on the first $1,000 worth of sale in a given year. Once you reach sales of more than $1,000 in a year, we charge a 5% fee on all additional sales.
Sellers will be able to track their sales volume on their profile, and will be billed quarterly, if the Seller Fee amounts to more than $20 for the period.
The Seller Fee runs on calender year, and resets on January 1st. The Seller Fee takes effect on January 1st 2019. See more in our Terms and Conditions.

With a Seller membership level, you can sell an unlimited number of stamps. You can also put an unlimited number of stamps for sale. With a VIP subscription, you can only add 500 stamps for sale.
If you search your stamps in our catalogue you will find an indicative assessment of their values. We are not able to valuate any specific stamp or collection for our users. Valuations varies depending on condition, buyers available and so on.
StampWorld do not buy stamps or stamp collections. We provide an option for sellers and buyers to connect through StampWorld.
Go to "Buy Stamps" from the main menu and choose 1 of the 4 categories shown. You can now view stamps for sale organized geographically.
Unfortunately you cannot at this time use a creditcard as payment, when buying stamps from sellers.
The order will stay in 'Awaiting Payment' until you have clicked 'Send Payment' and clicked 'I have now sent the money' in the pop-up.

Inside the user profile click stamps for sale". You can now see and buy the stamps for sale from this user. You can see the stamps for sale in a map view and a list view.
